Our Holiday Travel Assistance Program has reached full capacity, and we are no longer able to accept new applications for this season.
We know how important time at home is, especially during the holidays, and we are working hard to help as many service members as our budget allows.
Please check back next year and submit early to ensure the best chance of receiving assistance.

TRAVEL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM:
The Travel Assistance Program helps provide financial relief for E1-E5 so they will be able to travel home for the holidays to be with their loved ones or to get home in an emergency situation. Boots For Troops books the flights in full and does not need repayment. We believe in the importance of family and being able to be there in a time of need.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Emergency Travel
- E-5 and below
- Death to immediate family member (mother, father, sibling, grandparents)
- Terminal illness, or life-threatening situation.
- Must submit current LES
- Active Duty Only
Holiday & Special Travel
- E-5 and below
- Active duty ONLY
- Must not have been home within 2 years
- We do not provide fund reimbursement. We will book the flight, or provide gas gift cards if traveling by vehicle.
- It is STRONGLY encouraged to submit your request months in advance for holiday travel in order to be considered while budget is still available for this program.
